Product information
Comb honey is just as nature intended it, straight from the bee hive. Stored lovingly by the worker bees for us to enjoy. Comb honey is honey stored in hexagonal wax cells and capped over with wax all made by bees. To enjoy eat just at is it including the wax. Just slice, chew & swallow! Pure bliss in a bite.
This is a seasonal product and is in high demand. So we apologies if it is out of stock the bees only make it once a year and we have to wait patiently for them.
Directions:
Best used for spreading or putting on crackers. Slice, chew and swallow. Wax can be eaten or removed from mouth if you prefer. If you wish to cook or put in drinks we recommend using another honey in a pot.
Store in a warm place to prevent crystallisation (crunchy grains forming) in the honey.

Company outline
Producing Quality Honey Since 1974 The honey from family-run Katikati Honey is traceable from our hives to the pot. We produce a high- quality product that we’re proud of, working with integrity and passion at every stage of the process. The founders of the company, John and Sue Brown, opened a retail shop 40 years ago having begun beekeeping several years earlier. They had two daughters – Kelly and Nadine, with Nadine starting to help run the business 15 years ago. She now runs Katikati Honey with husband Steve, with the established principles being those of looking after the land and people first.
