Anthracite filtrant is a crumb of black and asphalt color with a metallic luster and cubic grains. It's made of high-quality, high-strength, low-ash, low-sulfur grades of anthracite. It's non-toxic and completely safe for humans. Does not contain and does not emit hazardous impurities. Highly resistant to abrasion and grinding during filtration as well as chemicals. Used as a filtering or supporting element in mechanical filters in the water treatment technological cycle by enterprises — providers of drinking water, as well as by energy, metallurgical, chemical and other companies for filtering technical water. Also used as a feedstock for the receipt of the absorbent carbon applied for preparation of water of drinkable quality from superficial sources.
