The early traditional honey comes for the first spin of the year
In our beekeeping we move the people from the heath to the Altmark in Saxony Anhalt.
Like my grandfather 100 years ago, we stock our summer stands very early in the year (after the cleaning trip), often in March. Since we keep the bee colonies in the vicinity of the village, we sometimes get the first honey centrifugation before the rapeseed bloom.
The early costume is particularly important for our bees because it contributes to the development of the bee colonies in our beekeeping, through the early entry of pollen and nectar, the bee colony strengthens after winter and becomes fit for the tasks of the year.
